Dr. Brice Hamilton, MD, FACS, FASMBS, joined The Bariatric Center of Kansas City in 2012. Dr. Hamilton is an accomplished General and Bariatric Surgeon, having practiced in Tennessee and Indiana where he founded bariatric programs for Horizon Medical Center and Clark Memorial Hospital.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1993 from Transylvania University, he graduated from medical school at the University of Tennessee in 1997.  He completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2002. 

Dr. Hamilton is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  As a Fellow of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery, Dr. Hamilton serves as the President of the Kansas ASMBS Chapter. 

Dr. Hamilton has performed over 5,000 weight-loss operations and believes successful weight loss requires a multifaceted approach.  He believes all patients are deserving of a compassionate, involved physician who will help guide them on their weight loss journey. Dr. Hamilton is dedicated to ensuring that patients have all the tools that they need to maintain a lifetime of success.
