I had the surgery done because my quality of life was not good and I was becoming more ill as each day passed. I was tired of weighing 347 pounds.

What were the short and long term effects of having it done?

Short term affects were mild pain and discomfort for 3 or 4 days. Rapid daily weight loss.
Long term effects were ability to eat much smaller portions and my system not able to tolerate some foods. Mainly dairy.

What did you think of the seminar?

I loved the seminars. I actually attended 6 of them to get as much information as possible before I made my final decision to have surgery.
